Click to ZoomNuneaton is 18 miles (28 km) east of Birmingham, almost at the very centre of England in Shakespeare's County (Warwickshire).

How to get to Nuneaton?

By Rail

By RailD.I.A.L at the Ramsden centre is approximately 3 miles from the nearest rail station, Nuneaton.

If travelling by train it may be necessary to take a taxi from Nuneaton station to the Ramsden centre. A taxi rank is just outside the front of the station entrance/ exit.


By Coach or Bus

By Coach or BusPublic transport services from Nuneaton bus station in the town centre: stand D (rear), Bus no. 3 (Whitestone), or stand D (front), bus no. 12 (Red Deeps). The buses stop in Highfield Rd.

Alternatively from the bus station, board the bus at Stand D13. The route travels to Attleborough Green and the end of Avenue Road, which is just a short walk from the Ramsden Centre. The frequency of the service is approximately every 30 minutes.

Service 778 (De Courcey Travel) also departs from Stand D13 to Attleborough Green approx. in every 1 hour 30 minute intervals.

Service 752 runs from the bus station to Attleborough.


By Road

By RoadFrom M5, M42 and M6: - Take M6 South to J3 and turn left onto A444 (Nuneaton). Stay on the A444 Bermuda Park, McDonalds and George Eliot Hospital roundabouts until reaching large roundabout with footbridge over road. Carry straight on (2nd exit), downhill taking right hand lane. At the bottom you reach Coton Arches island - take 2nd exit (A4252 Avenue Road) and it's 1/2 mile to the Cedar Tree pub. Follow the road to the end and reach a roundabout. Take the first exit (left) at the roundabout onto the B4114 and then take the 2nd right into School Walk. Follow this short road to the end, the Ramsden centre is visible.

From A5: - Travel south following signs for Nuneaton. After going through Atherstone the A444 Burton/Nuneaton junction is 2.5 miles ahead. At this junction (Royal Red Gate pub.) turn right at staggered junction and continue on A444 through Caldecote and Weddington into Nuneaton. Join the one-way system at the Graziers Arms by turning left and immediately taking the right hand lane for 300 yards to follow the A444 towards Coventry. At the 3rd island turn left on to the dual carriageway (Coton Road) for 2/3 mile and turn left at Coton Arches island onto A4252 (Avenue Road), travel 1/2 mile to Cedar Tree pub. Follow the road to the end and reach a roundabout. Take the first exit (left) at the roundabout onto the B4114 and then take the 2nd right into School Walk. Follow this short road to the end, the Ramsden centre is visible.
